No machine translation, no AI. Genuine intelligence and human brilliance at its best. Solo performance.

Project Management & Leadership:

Each project has a lead translator acting as the project manager. The lead translator marks the linguistic challenges, shares research outcomes and context insights with the whole team, ensures consistency, compiles the Q&A sheet and leads the project. This person [usually, our founder Uygar Kibar] is your point of contact. All teams communicate and collaborate through private channels. What makes Wordarch work well is this hands-on project leadership, much like that of a conductor in a symphony orchestra. The project management fee is 10% of the total cost of language rates.

*Linguistic Challenges:

These are sections of text that need creative adaptation due to nuances, ambiguities, cultural references, idioms, and game-specific terms. These get the most attention from the localization team to make sure they connect with the target audience while keeping the original intent of the game. The main translator of each language and the lead translator mark these sections for focused review by the whole team.

You can imagine these as the packaging warning symbols that we all know. Fragile, handle with care, this way up, caution. Indeed, the word "translation" comes from the Latin "translatio," meaning "to carry across." We carry you with care.

Daily Output and Project Timeline:

For all languages, our average is 2000 localized words per work day. So, we can localize 10K words per week. It can take up to one week for project preparation and one week for finalization.

We can increase this daily output by adding more linguists to the project.

[ Prep Week ] + [ 10K per week ] + [ Finishing week ] is our general formula for your reference.

Collaboration:

We promise good localization. However, for our collaboration to work well, we will need support from you in answering our questions, providing contextual information and reference materials (like screenshots, game design documents, game script etc.), solving technical issues, implementing the localization into the game and correcting the localization after the LQA.

We can work with most file types including JSON, Excel (XLSX) and PO. We prefer a localization kit with the most contextual info, typically, an Excel spreadsheet. However, it is best to decide on the file type that your developers are most comfortable with to ensure an easy implementation.

If you have specific requirements, we would recommend arranging a call with our founder Uygar Kibar.

Localization Report:
When you choose Advanced Localization, our lead translator provides you with a localization report detailing the decisions we made.

Using this report, you can create content that you can share with your fans, press members, streamers or influencers for more visibility and engagement.

Crediting:
We ask for proper in-game crediting of each translator working on your game.

Contact Wordarch now to get your Localization Calculation Tool. A very handy spreadsheet that saves you a lot of time. All you need to do is enter the word count of your project and select the languages and service types you choose. And everything will be calculated automatically. Including the localization and LQA costs, project completion date estimate and even a break-even calculator that lets you see when you can start to see the return on your investment. So that you can adjust your local pricing strategy for each language accordingly.
